Fortune Cookie continues to invest in the travel industry

Fortune Cookie continues to invest in the travel industry with digital sector sponsorship deals.

Digital design agency Fortune Cookie will demonstrate the depth of its support for best practice in design and innovation in the travel sector by sponsoring a raft of digital marketing sector awards throughout 2008.

In March, Fortune Cookie sponsored the ‘Leisure & Travel’ category of Haymarket Publishing’s Revolution Awards.

In April, Fortune Cookie will sponsor the three categories in the 2008 Travolution Awards, which celebrate digital excellence in the travel sector (Best Travel Portal, Best Meta Search/Price Comparison Site, Best Consumer Travel Information).

Kuoni-owned luxury tour operator Voyages Jules Verne (www.vjv.co.uk) won the award for best online tour operator website at the inaugural Travolution Awards in 2007 with its site which was designed by Fortune Cookie.

Fortune Cookie’s re-design of the Voyages Jules Verne site resulted in a 70% uplift in customer conversion rates, a 36% increase in unique visitors, and a 50% increase in online sales.

Speaking about Fortune Cookie’s investment in the online travel sector, Managing Director Justin Cooke said, “Fortune Cookie has a strong reputation for contributing to the online travel industry through innovative, award-winning designs that deliver fantastic return-on-investment to our many travel sector clients, including Voyages Jules Verne, Kuoni, Small Luxury Hotels of the World and Exodus.”

“We are delighted to support high standards of design in the sector which is why we’re lending our support to the Revolution and Travolution awards, both of which reward the highest possible quality of digital design in travel and leisure.  Fortune Cookie is really pleased to be connected to these awards and we congratulate Revolution and Travolution for driving up standards in this sector.”

The Revolution Awards took place in London on Friday 7 March 2008.

The Travolution Awards will take place in London on Thursday 24 April 2008.
